Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Ayah mobile application ("the App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. The App

Ayah is a tool to help you memorize and review portions of the Qur'an. The Qur'anic text provided in the App is the verified Uthmani (Hafs) text. Reciter audio is streamed from third-party sources where available.

2. Subscriptions

Ayah offers auto-renewable subscriptions to unlock full access. The following applies to all subscriptions:

• Plans and pricing: Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly options are offered. The exact price and billing period are shown on the purchase screen within the App before you subscribe, in your local currency.
• Free trial: New subscribers may be offered a 3-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription automatically begins and your payment method is charged the displayed price.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Managing and cancelling: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Payment: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store.

3. Access for those unable to pay

As a faith-based educational app, Ayah offers a conscience-based option for those who genuinely cannot afford a subscription, granting full access at no cost. This is offered in good faith. If Allah later provides you the means, we ask that you subscribe to support the App.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use the App for personal, lawful purposes only, and not to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or misuse the App or its services.

5. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is." While we strive for accuracy of the Qur'anic text and reliability of features, the App is a study aid and should not replace learning from a qualified teacher. We are not liable for any indirect or incidental damages arising from use of the App.

6. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
